GENERAL CONTEST RULES

These rules cover daily contests for Radio Stations WORL, WTLN, and WBZW (AM) (collectively referred to as, the “Stations”). These rules may be superseded by separate specific rules for major contests conducted by the Stations or its sponsors.

HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST:

The contest or promotion (the “Contest”) will take place during the dates and times specified in the official rules of the Contest. The Stations may change the dates and/or terms of the Contest without prior notice. Any material changes will be broadcast on the Stations and/or posted on their website.

To be eligible to enter, listeners must follow the instructions set forth in the rules of the Contest and must fulfill all of the eligibility requirements of the Contest.No Purchase Necessary.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:

Unless otherwise specified, the Contest is open to all listeners of the Stations, 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in the greater Central Florida area. Employees of the Stations, their licensee, corporate parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Orlando metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and or households are ineligible to participate or win.

Listeners are eligible to win a Stations’ Contest only once every thirty (30) days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Contest. Listeners are eligible to win a prize valued at $700.00 or more only once per calendar year.

PRIZES:

Contest prizes and values will be indicated in the rules of the Contest. Unless otherwise indicated in the rules of the Contest, all prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of WORL, WTLN, and WBZW at 1188 Lake View Drive, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714.

Prizes may be claimed during regular business hours (between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday). Winner(s) will be required to present valid government-issued photo identification and provide their address, phone number, and Social Security number to claim a prize. Unless otherwise permitted by the Stations, winners must claim their prizes in person, and third parties on behalf of winners cannot claim prizes.

The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty (30) days of the winning. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in the forfeiture of the prize. No alternate winner will be selected and the prize will become the property of the Stations.

If a prize or prize certificate is not available at the time that the winner arrives at the studio location to claim the prize, the Stations, solely at their discretion, may opt to mail the prize to the winner. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss.

The Stations, Salem Communications, Inc., and Pennsylvania Media Associate, Inc., is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed in the rules of the Contest and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

SELECTION OF WINNERS:

Decisions of the Stations’ management with regard to the contest are final.

Winners will be selected and notified of their prize in the manner described in the rules of the Contest.

 CONDITIONS:

Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

By participating in the Contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material related to this contest, without further compensation, and (where permitted by law) to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Stations in their sole discretion may require Contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Stations, their corporate licensee, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.

The Stations are not responsible for (i) lost, stolen, mangled, incorrectly delivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries; (ii) telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, facsimile transmission errors, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.

The Stations reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Stations, a prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Stations reserve the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

Failure to comply with the rules of the Contest may result in a contestant’s disqualification and/or forfeiture of any prize or prizes. If the Stations make a good faith determination that a listener has cheated or committed fraudulent activity in connection with a Contest, the Stations reserve the right to disqualify that listener from entering and/or winning future Contests.

Written copies of the contest rules are available during regular business hours at the main studios of WORL, WTLN, and WBZW, 1188 Lake View Drive, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714.

By participating in this contest, you are also signing up for the Station(s) VIP Listener Club eNewsletter, eUpdates, and agree to have your name, voice and or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material related to the contest. Salem Communications, Inc., will not sell or share any contact information gathered through this registry, but does reserve the right to use entrant’s information for in-house and promotional mailings.
